The Interpreter

February 5, 2010

A friend of mine just sent me an email featuring this article in the New Yorker. For those of you with interests in Linguistic Anthropology, or if you’ve heard of Noam Chomsky, this article will be fascinating. It’s a little long, but discusses the merits of universal grammar in light of a language spoken by about 350 people in the amazon. enjoy!

Language isolates are the fun thing. Oh, and your comment system works without me having to sign up or anything.
